We serve the 3 types of Boxty found in the border counties of Leitrim, Cavan and Fermanagh.

Beginning in 1988, Pádraic Óg Gallagher perfected the Leitrim Pan Boxty, A light Boxty Pancake served with a variety of fillings.
Through the years, Pádraic Óg and his Chefs developed a range of Boxty Dishes which are served in a variety of ways at the Boxty House to showcase the best of Irish Produce.

BOXTY PANCAKE
Grated Raw Potato mixed with a little flour, Water, Salt and Pepper to make a Batter which is slow-cooked on our Boxty Griddle until Golden Brown

BOXTY DUMPLINGS
Grated raw potato, cooked mash and flour, kneaded into dumplings, simmered for 12 minutes, chilled, and sauteed in a little butter. Served with a sauce of your choice!

BOXTY BREAD
Grated raw potato, cooked mash, and flour kneaded with pure Irish butter and lovingly baked in the oven. Delicious!

BOXTY FRIES
Our most recent addition, strips of Boxty Pancakes, lightly fried until Light and Crisp.

Alongside our amazing menu you will find the perfect beverage to accompany your meal. Renowned for our celebration of Irish Cuisine, we are also very proud to present you with an array of beverages brewed and distilled in Ireland and expertly mixed by our bar tenders.

A selection of the best gins from the Dingle peninsula to Drumshambo Gin from my home county, Leitrim, Ballyvolane House Bertha’s Revenge and Co Louth’s Listoke 777 gin - look up their Gin school for a fantastic evening.
We have a vast selection of whiskey from our local distillery, Teeling’s to Jameson in Co Dublin to Redbreast and Midleton from Co Cork. We are sure you will find an Irish spirit to satisfy your taste from our selection.

After a long awaited return, Jack Smyth is finally back. The brewery has been dusted down and cracked open where the aromas of malts and hops are filling the air.
We look forward to serving our own brews from our Tallaght brewery at the taps again.
